I am Bill Koehne, owner of Koehne Construction. I have been building homes full time since May, 1988, after first obtaining a degree in business administration.

A business background gives me the advantage of approaching the construction of a home from a different perspective. It allows me to develop goals, desires and the strategies to help customers achieve the home they want. It also affects how pricing and customer service is handled.

A 500-plus page spreadsheet helps to ensure details and accuracy when pricing a home. It also allows one to maintain the tightest margin in order to give the best price. Plus, running a home construction company as a business means customer and contractor relationships are a priority and people are treated with fairness.

Business-like knowledge needs be tempered with experience and wisdom. Over 23 years of running a home building business has given me the tools and experience needed to ensure that both specifications of the home and the expectations of the customer are met.
